Aqua Leak Detection was founded in 2003 with a single, clear purpose: to bring a systematic, investigative approach to pool leak detection in Southwest Florida. At a time when most companies were guessing, we were diagnosing, using pressure testing, dye testing, and hands-on structural inspection to find leaks that others missed.
Over two decades later, that commitment to precision has never wavered. We have grown from a local operation into the region's most trusted pool leak specialists, serving homeowners, real estate professionals, and property managers across Manatee, Sarasota, Lee, Charlotte, and Collier Counties.

Rob founded Aqua Leak Detection in 2003 and still runs it as an owner and operator. Under his leadership the team has detected and repaired over 100,000 leaks across Southwest Florida, working one way: Investigate, Identify, Inform. Gather the information, pinpoint the problem, and deliver clear solutions.

Advocating in Tallahassee
Through our active involvement with FSPA, our leadership participates directly in the Florida legislative process, traveling to Tallahassee to meet with senators and representatives, attending committee hearings, and advocating for policies that protect pool professionals and Florida pool owners alike.
The Florida Swimming Pool Association engages with the Florida Legislature on issues ranging from contractor licensing and water safety standards to environmental regulations that affect the entire pool industry. We are proud to have a seat at that table.

The Florida Statutes that govern pool construction, service, and safety do not write themselves. They are shaped by the input of industry professionals who understand what works in the field, and what does not. Our involvement ensures that the voices of experienced, ethical pool professionals are heard in that process.

Child Protection Center of Sarasota
cpcsarasota.orgThe Child Protection Center (CPC) of Sarasota is a nationally accredited, non-profit Child Advocacy Center whose mission is the prevention, intervention, and treatment of child abuse. CPC is the only provider in Sarasota County specialized in child physical and sexual abuse treatments, provided entirely free of charge to families.
Aqua Leak Detection is proud to support the Child Protection Center through ongoing charitable contributions. We believe that a company's success creates an obligation to invest in the safety and well-being of the most vulnerable members of our community.
Our involvement with CPC is growing, and we are committed to deepening that partnership in the years ahead.

Supporting Water Safety & Swim Education
Through our involvement with FSPA and the Florida Swims Foundation, Aqua Leak Detection contributes annually to programs that fund swim lessons for children across Florida, particularly in underserved communities where access to water safety education is limited.
Drowning is one of the leading causes of accidental death for children in Florida. We are in the pool business. We have a responsibility to do something about that. Funding swim lessons is one of the most direct ways we can act.
